Meet our Pastor!
Pastor Steve Worley and his wife,
Rachel, have been married for
12 years and have 3 children;
Isobel, Andrew, and Malachi.
Pastor Worley is a licensed minister with the United Pentecostal Church International (UPCI). He has the awesome heritage of being a 3rd generation Penteostal. His grandfather, Bennie Worley, started First United Pentecostal Church in Glennville, GA. His father is the pastor of CornerStone United Pentecostal Church in Jesup, GA. He was born in Jackson, Mississippi while his parents were attending Jackson College of Ministries. When he was just a young boy, Pastor Worley received the gift of the Holy Ghost and shortly thereafter began to feel God calling him into ministry. He preached his first sermon at age 16. At age 22, he married his best friend, Rachel, and became Youth Pastor of First UPC of Savannah, GA and continued that work for 9 years. He also was the Sectional Youth Director during that time. While in Savannah they were blessed with 3 beautiful children. In 2007, God moved their lives in a new direction and Pastor Worley became a full-time evangelist, traveling with his family for 3 years. They saw and experienced miracles and blessings from God during that time!
In July, 2010, Pastor Worley was unanimously elected to become the pastor of Solid Life Christian Center in Fayetteville, GA.
Pastor Worley's vision for Solid Life Christian Center is three-fold: to grow spritually and numerically; to provide a refuge for worship and strength to the community; and to assist every believer in finding his/her place in the body of Christ. His motivation for ministry is a passion for God and a compassion for people.
